Charlotte Fowler, DMD, MD

Meet Dr. Fowler

Dr. Charlotte Fowler was born in Reading, England and moved to Palo Alto, California in high school. She attended Santa Clara University attaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. While there she was the president of Tri-beta the biology honors society. She was also a cheerleader for SCU basketball, Go Broncos!

Dr. Fowler then attended dental school at Tufts University in Boston where she received the Dr. Osher Award for Academic and Ethical Achievement. Following dental school, Dr. Fowler moved to Bradenton, Florida where she practiced as a general dentist. She then decided to further her training and become an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.

She completed her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at University of Kentucky, where she served as Chief Resident and completed a General Surgery Internship. During her residency in Lexington, KY she also received her Medical Degree.

During her training at the University of Kentucky, she gained extensive experience taking care of medically complex patients. She is well trained in IV sedation and anesthesia. She is trained in full scope Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, including dentoalveolar surgery, implant placement, pathology, orthognathic and trauma surgery. While in residency she also had the opportunity to participate in a cleft lip and palate surgery service trip to Cordoba, Mexico.

Dr. Fowler focuses on providing individualized patient care and goes above and beyond for her patients.

Outside of the office, Dr. Fowler spends time with her English Springer Spaniel, Murray. She enjoys getting out on the water, running (with Murray), reading fiction books and trying new restaurants.
